Vehicle Processing | Warehouse Associate
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Vehicle Processing & Warehouse Associate to support the efficient processing and delivery of vehicles, as well as manage incoming and outgoing shipments. This dual-role position involves safely driving and inspecting vehicles, installing accessories, and performing warehouse operations, including inventory management and shipping/receiving duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Prepare, package, and process outgoing shipments in accordance with company and industry standards
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move and store inventory
- Maintain organized, accurate records of shipments and inventory
- Ensure all shipping and receiving areas are clean, safe, and compliant with company policies
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support efficient workflow
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory management
- Safely handle automotive parts, accessories, and related materials
- Safely operate and maneuver all makes and models of vehicles under various conditions
- Install accessories on new vehicles with accuracy and efficiency
- Perform quality checks to verify correct fit, function, and installation of accessories
- Conduct final vehicle inspections for defects or installation issues
- Assist with peer training and support
- Perform ramp driving duties and proper vehicle placement in load lines
- Secure and document the receipt of parts and maintain shop tools and equipment
- Follow safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain compliance with company standards
- Complete required documentation and reports for the final check process
- Handle customer and consumer data responsibly in compliance with data privacy standards
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of basic accessory shop productivity metrics
- Professional-level driving skills and ability to meet TMS Audit Criteria
- Willingness to cross-train in other areas
- Must pass a drug screening
- Valid driver’s license required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move up to 100 lbs.
- Full range of motion including stooping, kneeling, squatting, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, crouching, and crawling
- Specific vision abilities required: close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
