Child Support – Case Initiation Specialist
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide responsive customer services to all stakeholders.
- Process applications and referrals.
- Establish new case records in the system.
- Researches and assess cases for necessary actions.
- Initiate locate activities for noncustodial parents.
- Document initiate activities in the system.
- Accurately completes necessary documentation and data entry activities in all systems.
- Regularly communicates and updates the Supervisor/Lead on case status and production issues.
- Maintain accuracy rate of 95 percent.
- Ensures the confidentiality and security of all case information.
- Meets all standards established for this position.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to read and interpret complex court orders, income assignments, and other child support documentation
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
- Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
